Welcome to Waddles, a mobile application developed by INVENTIVE OTTERS S.R.L., headquartered at CAL. DOROBANTILOR NR.25 ET.1 AP.33, Cluj-Napoca, Romania ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using Waddles ("Application", "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Waddles is intended for users of all ages. If you are under the age of 18, please ensure that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian before using the App or making any purchases.
Waddles helps users reduce their screen time through gamification features, including leaderboards, leveling, customizable mascots, and collectible virtual cosmetics. The App offers two types of virtual currency: Fish Tokens (earned through play) and Rubies (purchased or rarely earned through gameplay), used solely for in-app cosmetic items. Waddles may function as an app blocker and requires necessary permissions on Android and iOS to work.
User authentication is handled through Firebase Anonymous Sign-In and a user-specific anonymous UID. No personal or identifiable user data is required or collected to use the basic functions of Waddles.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled through the respective App Store/Play Store. All purchases are subject to the platform’s refund and billing policies. The subscription service delivers monthly Ruby allowances, removes ads, and unlocks additional features.
Waddles may use special device permissions or iOS ScreenTime APIs to block apps. On Android, Waddles may monitor app activities to manage blocking, but does not store any app usage patterns or cloud-based user information; metadata is kept only locally. Conflicts with other app blockers or OS-level issues are outside our responsibility.
The App integrates with third-party services for authentication (Firebase), in-app purchases (RevenueCat), crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics), and may display ads. These providers have their own terms and privacy policies.
Users may request account and data deletion via the support email or in-app "Contact Us". We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. INVENTIVE OTTERS S.R.L. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for incompatibility with other software (including other app blockers), loss of data, or device functionality.
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or use of Waddles will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Romanian courts, unless otherwise mandated by applicable consumer protection law.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version in-app or on our website. Continued use of Waddles after such changes signals your acceptance of the new Terms.
